We are also able to certify you the quality of your products regarding the conformity of your data protection solution: being a recognized testing center of the independent center for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD) 2B ADVICE offers you the possibility to check your product for all data protection-relevant aspects and to pave the way to obtain a recognized privacy seal. The ULD privacy seal certifies the conformity of your product or service with all data protection and data safety provisions. As one of the first centers in europe, 2B ADVICE is authorized and experienced to examine companies products for the european Privacy Seal (EuroPriSe). The international Quality Seal honors a professional privacy regulation conform product or service within the European context as well. Have your company examined by our testing center and put it through our paces. Our certification reduces the final certification by the respective institutions to a merely formal matter.
Admitted as experts for the European Privacy Seal
EuroPriSe is a European project funded by the European Commission with 1.2 Mio. Euro under the eTEN programme. The consortium of nine European partners is lead by the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz, ULD). EuroPriSe is introducing a European Privacy Seal for IT-products and services that have proven privacy compliance in a two-step certification procedure: an evaluation by specialized experts and an check of the evaluation report by an independent certification body.
The project will offer pilot certification according to the European Privacy Seal procedure in Germany, Austria, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and in further EU countries on request. Technical and legal IT-experts are trained to evaluate IT products and services according to the European Privacy Seal Criteria.
Accredited Privacy Evaluation Body
The Independent Centre for Privacy Certification (ULD) accredited 2B Secure the independent Evaluation body of 2B Advice GmbH to carry out the legal checks and to find out whether a product or service meets the requirements to receive the only privacy seal under a state privacy protection act.Getting accredited as an evaluation body for privacy meets our target to provide interested product manufacturers and vendors the expertise to evaluate their products and services.
Manufacturers or vendors commission a specialist or evaluation body, accredited by the ULD. They can carry out legal and technical checks on the product and the results are documented in a report.
A specialist report and the certification application are then submitted to the ULD. If the ULD approves the product as legally and technically correct, the a privacy protection seal is awarded.
The evaluation body shall perform a privacy evaluation of the product or service in accordance with the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection ("ULD") requirements and relevant European Union privacy laws.
The Work willl include evaluation requirements necessary to obtain a privacy seal certifying that an official process has confirmed the compatibility of the Target of Evaluation with the provisions governing data protection.
A seal of privacy certifies that the compatibility of the product with the provisions governing data protection has been confirmed by an official process.
The Independent Centre for Privacy Certification (ULD) therefore recommends by law that these products shall be given priority in authorities and public offices.
