Data Protection: More Important Than Ever

Today data protection and data safety are vital for every company and every institution: huge amounts of data are being collected, stored, and exchanged every day. As a whole, these data are the digital image of a person or an entire company. Who doesn’t protect these employee and customer data sufficiently, negligently discloses his inner life and often risks unnoticedly a high image and credibility loss. The particular challenge in this case primarily concerns the diversity and complexity of the data: whether internet, email, databases, cellphones, video surveillance, or electronic payment systems – data are collected everywhere and are only one push of a button away from being further processed or accessed by third parties worldwide.
Each company is thus obliged to attend to both the organization and the effective protection of the personal data. Often this is only done unsufficiently, with the help of provisional spreadsheet tables or poor forms and eDP tools. companies and corporations therefore consider data protection increasingly as a management issue which is not satisfied by appointing a privacy officer. Basically, hundreds of individual procedures, employees, and access rights are to be managed – often at different locations.
Professional and sustainable data protection covers all legal and technical aspects of this complex procedure. This includes extensive consulting, execution, examination, and certification – also within the international context. These requirements are exactly what 2B ADVICE is specializing in: to make the processing of personal data secure within the company – today and in the future.

A legal audit of Microsoft’s statements, policies and specifications was performed to set the requirements for a technical audit which, in turn, determined that the program’s databases, source code and implementation respect privacy concerns. Ministerpresident Carstensens handed out the privacy seal to Peter Cullen, Chief Privacy Strategist of the Microsoft Corporation on February the 16th of 2007. Mehr ...

Who cares about data privacy?
For the most data privacy beginns by the others. Does your enterprise fulfill the security that you would expect from the others?
You are competent
But how does the customer, patient or client judge this?
The judgement of the competence is not bound by the professional competence, much more so it is the security and protection of personal data, that give the last needed implus or the needed trust foundation.
