Beginning in 2018, the European General Data Protection Regulation (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) comes into force. The regulation is meant to standardize and expand the rights of individual citizens to control their own personally identifiable data. What exactly does this mean for business? What new rights and obligations will arise? What procedures and processes will need to be adjusted or introduced? The workshop provides data protection supervisors, privacy officers, compliance officers and management with the expertise necessary to prepare their businesses for the challenges of the new GDPR. The 2-day workshop will introduce you to the EuroPriSe certification scheme: You will learn about EuroPriSe criteria and procedures and train in how to specify a target of evaluation (ToE) and to write a EuroPriSe evaluation report. In addition, you will start to work on the training evaluation which is one important precondition for being admitted as EuroPriSe Expert.
